SPCA
The SPCA is New Zealand's leading animal welfare organisation, and the only charitable organisation recognised in animal welfare legislation.
The SPCA is a national entity with over 40 centres around New Zealand. It plays a vital and leading role in the repatriation of lost and found pets, as well as the adoption of pets looking for a new home. The vast majority of lost and found pets in New Zealand will be handled by the SPCA's dedicated team of animal specialists and volunteers.
The SPCA is also a founding trustee of the New Zealand Companion Animal Register.
