NZVA - Companion Animal Veterinarians

Companion Animal Veterinarians is a special interest branch of the New Zealand Veterinary Association (NZVA).

The branch was established in 1972 and is operated by a voluntary committee of veterinarians from around New Zealand. These veterinarians come from a broad range of backgrounds with practice owners, associate veterinarians, industry veterinarians and academics all represented. The branch work encompasses supporting members’ education, keeping them up-to-date with topical issues in the companion animal field, promoting the value of companion animals in society, and advocating for companion animal welfare.

Membership is open to all NZVA members by way of an additional subscription fee.
