This is Uri

Available for adoption: Uri was found tied to a fence, starving, dehydrated, and unable to bear his own body weight. He has progressed well and is now ready for a new beginning. He is approximately 16 months old. A real gentleman who knows basic commands and walks well on a lead. Uri will make a good family dog. He is good at mixing with other dogs and enjoys their company. Uri will suit someone with a lifestyle block or a large section to roam in. Uri demonstrates Pointer Retriever qualities and likes to play fetch with a ball. For adoption enquiries please phone the centre, 07 323 4032 or send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Uri needs a home where he will always be wanted, be treated as one of the family - with love, respect and care. If you are interested in adopting Uri and you have the ability to provide for all his needs for the rest his life, please contact us. Our SPCA is situated in Kawerau, North Island, 1 hour's drive from Rotorua, 1 1/2 hours from Tauranga and approx 2 1/2 hours from Hamilton. We struggle to rehome our dogs as our Centre is in an economically poor area. Please consider adopting from us. Please don't buy from a breeder. Please 'adopt' from a shelter or SPCA because there are too many unwanted animals alive already. To speak with us please phone 07 323 4032 during our office hours 9 - 12 noon daily. If you call outside of these hours, or the phone is unattended, please leave a message with your name and contact details. The adoption fee is $225 each which covers desexing, first vaccination, microchipping, worm and flea treatment, as well as council registration.
