The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming stray and abandoned cats and kittens.
One of the cats available is LILLY.
THANK YOU FOR LOOKING - LILLY HAS GONE TO A NEW HOME.
Lilly is about 11 years old and was surrendered to CPL with her adult daughter Kate (not yet advertised) when their owner went into care.
Lilly is sweet but shy and will suit a quiet home with no other pets. We are happy for her to be adopted separately from her daughter - in fact, she may be glad to finally leave her parenting days behind!
Adopting an older cat can be very rewarding and they make great companions. As they are less active they tend to spend more time indoors and are less likely to get lost or injured. They are particularly suitable for owners who are themselves less active and/or spend most of their time at home.
Lilly has been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and feline leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. Our cats are not free: 1-7 years old cost $90, 8 years and older cost $70. We will always take Lilly back if it does not work out.
We can be contacted on 384 0006 and will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding Lilly or any cat in our care. Visit our website www.cats.org.nz to find out more about the adoption process and our Facebook page for adoption news. The cattery is situated at 14 Charlesworth Street, Woolston and is open from 11.00am to 2.30pm Tuesday to Friday and Sunday and from 11.00am to 3.00pm on Saturday.
